Subject: Board of Education Superintendent Search Update 

CAMILLE HIBBLER SELECTED AS SUPERINTENDENT

Ferndale, MI – Tonight the Board of Education voted unanimously to offer the superintendent position to Camille Hibbler, who is currently serving as the district's Interim Superintendent. During the interview, Hibbler fielded questions from the Board and also gave a formal presentation related to her candidacy. 

Upon review of public feedback and deliberation, the Board voted unanimously to extend an offer to Camille Hibbler to serve as the district’s next Superintendent. The Board and Hibbler will move forward with negotiating a contract to make the decision official.

Prior to becoming Interim Superintendent, Hibbler served as the district’s Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for 14 months. Before that she held several leadership positions in other local districts, including director of curriculum, principal, and dean of students.
