The 4th grade Lansing capitol field trip was an enlightening field trip for all who participated. Students got to see where our Michigan laws are passed, the stunning architecture of the building and even where Governor Whitmer resided. It is safe to say the students absolutely loved it with many even saying, "This is the coolest field trip I have ever been on!" Considering our 4th grade is currently learning about our government, it was so cool to see the light bulb moment for students and to have them understand that the points we talk about in class are actually real, and an integral part of our society.
