The recently inducted members of the Ferndale Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society spent Wednesday, April 24 at Forgotten Harvest. Forgotten Harvest is a non-profit organization that works to rescue food and donate to members of the community to help end food-insecurity. While at Forgotten Harvest, NJHS members packed frozen pizza and breadsticks, organized pre-packaged food, and bagged dry cereal. By the end of the day students packed over 8,000 pounds of food which will supply over 8,000 meals to the community!
