FECC students play with KEVA Planks

This week, Ferndale Early Childhood Center started their monthly STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) visits with Mrs. Kelsey Perkins, Technology Integration Specialist for Ferndale Schools. This first visit focused on the Engineering Design Process through the use of KEVA Planks. The students were engaged and so creative! The KEVA Planks were borrowed from the Oakland Schools STEMco library of things for the next two weeks, and FECC teachers will be using them in the classrooms for further exploration. Next month, our activity will focus on Coding through the use of Botley Robots.
