FHS English teachers James Pagonas, Kandis Pagonas, and Rachel Morrison and Reading Specialist Stephanie Gizicki attended a conference on February 1st at Oakland Schools titled Smells Like Teen Spirit: What's New in Young Adult Literature. This conference allows for teachers to build community with other Oakland county educators about the JOY of reading and learn about the best new YA literature from the past year.
