On Tuesday, March 12th, world renown clarinetist Julian Bliss visited Ferndale to give a masterclass for FMS and FHS students. Mr. Bliss is one of the world’s finest clarinetists, excelling as a concerto soloist, chamber musician, recitalist, jazz artist, and masterclass leader. He shared his personal story of starting the clarinet at age four and turning professional at the age of twelve. He also answered questions and performed for the students.
