Congratulations to the talented students of Ferndale Schools' Theater Department on their outstanding performance of Neil Simon's The Good Doctor! Written by the prolific American playwright known as the "Broadway Master of Comedy," this production is based on the short stories of Russian writer Anton Chekhov. The play masterfully exposes the ridiculous, tender, and outlandish frailties of human beings through a series of unpredictable and unique vignettes. Your dedication, creativity, and hard work shone brightly on stage, bringing this classic to life with humor and heart.
We are especially proud to recognize the incredible cast:
Ferndale Middle School: Zoe Erskine, Zoe Frappier, Lu Kaiser, Brooklyn Meadows, and Piper Stoll (8th Graders), Vivian Eminhizer (7th Grade)
Ferndale High School: Jack Galloway and Ingrid Hibbard (9th Graders), Audry Montgomery and Bralyn Meadows (11th Graders)
University High School: Kristen McCall and Nevaeh Sigmon (10th Graders)
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the community for their unwavering support and enthusiasm in attending the show—it truly makes a difference in fostering the arts in our schools. With such a passionate and talented group of students, the future of Ferndale Public Schools' theater program is incredibly bright. We can't wait to see the amazing productions yet to come!"
