On December 31, 2024, the terms of three School Board Trustees will expire. Members of the FPS School Board serve four-year terms.
Current Board Members will be available—in pairs—to meet with community members interested in running for school board during three community sessions next week. Each session will include brief remarks from the Board Members present and a Q & A period. Information on further resources and education sessions outside of the District will also be provided.
The sessions will be held as follows:
Tuesday, May 14, 10:00–11:00 am: - Pleasant Ridge Community Center at 4 Ridge Rd, Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069
Thursday, May 16, 6:00–7:00 pm: - TCEC at 8711 Cloverdale,
Ferndale, MI 48220
Saturday, May 18, 10:00–11:00 am: - Jim's Community Corner at 9 Mile and Woodward, southwest corner 118 E 9 Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220
