Ferndale School Board Welcomes New Members and Elects Officers for 2025

On Monday, January 6th, Ferndale Public Schools held its Annual Organizational Meeting of the Board of Education, marking an exciting start to the new year. During the meeting, three newly elected board members officially began their 4-year terms of service. Lisa Kaiser, David Crumrine, and Erin Molnar took the oath of office, administered by Board Secretary Jonathan Turner. Their terms will run through December 31, 2028.

In addition to welcoming the new members, the board elected its officers for the upcoming year. Sandra Dukhie was re-elected as Board President, Lisa Kaiser was elected Vice President, Jonathan Turner will continue serving as Secretary, and Jackie Hart was elected Treasurer.

These new members and officers bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to supporting student success and the Ferndale community. Their leadership will help guide the district’s initiatives and ensure a bright future for all students.
