students share their stuffed animal creations with the original artists

In a heartwarming collaboration, students at CASA and a Ferndale Lower Elementary 2nd grade class came together to build a unique sense of community. The journey began in Ms. Balogh's art class, where the second graders unleashed their creativity by crafting artwork depicting monsters lurking in their closets. Bridging generations and disciplines, Ms. Moorhead's Sculpture and AP 3D students at CASA transformed these imaginative monsters into tangible reality—adorable stuffed animals. The grand reveal took place on Tuesday, December 19th, as CASA students surprised their younger counterparts with these handcrafted monsters, fostering connections and sparking joy across the age gap through the power of shared creativity and collaboration.
