Body Worlds exhibit

Students from TCEC traveled to Flint to visit the Sloan Museum to explore the Real Bodies Exhibit. This exhibit provided students the opportunity to get a close understanding of the human body and its systems with displays made from real human specimens respectfully preserved. Students explored muscle, skeletal, respiratory, nervous, and circulatory systems just to name a few. Being able to walk around specimens and see them in a different perspectives provides a more complete understanding than viewing photos or illustrations in a textbook or online. Students then took time to go through the Sloan’s History gallery and explored Flint’s history. The final exploration of the Sloan Museum took students into the Discovery Hall, which focused on various science concepts with interactive displays to explore physical and chemical science concepts. You can take a Virtual Tour throughout the museum on the Sloane website.
