UHS students at Black cinema exhibit at Detroit Institute of Art

UHS students in Mr. Kleven’s Movie Making classes took a trip to the DIA to see the new exhibition: Regeneration Black Cinema 1898-1971. The visit began with a special screening of a silent film followed by a discussion with museum experts. Students then had time to walk through the exhibition that included film props, film posters, and even an Oscar! The visit concluded with a craft; students were challenged to create their own movie posters.
